EasyJet and Ryanair are the biggest budget airlines in Europe and offer the widest range of cheap flights to Rome
and many other destinations in Italy and Europe. In addition to that there are flights to Rome offered by airlines like
Alitalia from London Gatwick and Heathrow and British Airways from Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Heathrow and Manchester.

is 06/794941. Buses run from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. every half hour until metro
station Anagnina (terminal station Linea A) and with the metro to the
center (€ 1.80). There are no more busses after 11 p.m., only possibility

At the airport car rental and tourist information can also be found. With the Leonardo Express
(in the airport labelled as "Treno") there is a train every half an hour to the central
station Roma Termini. The ticket costs 8.80 Euro and trains run from 7.30 am until 22.30
hours at night. Travel-time is about 30 min. There are tickets at the counter ticket machine.
The ticket must always be validated before boarding, use the orange-colored stamp machines at
the platform. Busses go from the international arrival terminal at the airport to the center
of Rome from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In addition, there is a night bus which approx. connects the airport
hourly from 1 to 5 o'clock in the morning with central Rome (Termini Central Station).
The tickets for this bus cost approx. 4,- Euro. Cabs are expensive and therefore when you travel
with a tighter budget it is recommended to use them only in emergencies.
The 28 km (approx. 17 miles) to the center can cost you around 55,- Euro by Taxi!
Pay attention when using taxis as a tourist. One should ask for the exact price and possible
surcharges before you start the trip. If the drivers claims not to speak English let him write
it down for you.
